- Family Mentorship Program: Spring 2016
This program was part of a semester-long Cognitive Language Development course during which I was assigned to work with a Physical Therapist major to spend time with a child suffering from a disability that prevents communication. In the four total hours spend with the mother and child, I learned about life from the family's side of a student with a disability.

- Administered Fountas and Pinnell Assessment on 1st Grade Students: Fall 2016
Visited Northridge Elementary school to observe a guided reading activity and administer the assessment. It was a hands-on experience that allowed me to put my training into practice.
